Artefact 1- Chinese Badges
During the dynasty periods of Ancient China, where emperors reigned supreme. The emperor's men and government had these badges sewn onto their gowns. Every different rank and job title has a different badge. Badges normally have pictures of animals such as badgers and cranes while higher officials get 3 or 4 toed dragons. The emperor is the only one allowed to have a 5-toed dragon.
Reflections by Teri
I had quite a fun time at the museum while charting the museum. We saw many strange sights of the city that we rarely see in the heartlands as well as seeing many historical sites from the colonial times. We got to see many of our school friends and had a good time at the museum doing research on the various artefacts.
The Route that we took! :D
We met up at the Clarke Quay MRT station where we then walked along the Singapore River towards the Asian Civilizations Museum. Along the Singapore River we crossed Coleman bridge.
